Always the bridesmaid and never the bride would be a fitting description of how the Pakmen 15U team has started their year. This past weekend they competed in the Toronto West Invitational tournament and captured their third second place finish in a row. Once again they played great opening the day winning their pool defeating Interclub 15U 2-0, Toronto West 16U 2-0 and Titans Shock 2-0. In the quarterfinals they defeated Toronto West 14U 2-1. In the semi-finals they went against a strong Etobicoke Titans 14U team but pulled out a 2-0 win. In the finals they would face the Titans Synergy losing 0-2. The team fought hard from beginning to end which made for some great volleyball to watch. It was a great team effort and a nice way to leave for the holiday break. Congratulations team!!!
