Burlington, ON - Off to a great start. After a solid first season last year, the Pakmen 14U Girls team started off this season with a gold medal win at the Burlington Blaze pre-season tournament.After a slow start to the day, the team settled down to win the championship. Strong net play and solid back court positioning, allowed the team to defeat Burlington in the finals 2-0. After winning the 14U Championships, the team went on to play the 15U Champs, FC Green. A strong 15U team, playing in the Champions West division this year, Pakmen held their own losing 25-20, 25-21. Coaches Valerie and Joe Grdisa are extremely happy with the start and look forward to improving as the season progresses.
