Kristian Kuld started training with Pakmen during his during the 17U beach season and skyrocketed with Dearing to the #1 ranked 17U team in Canada. He joined our 18U indoor team and helped our team to gold at the 2008 CanAm Championships and the 2008 18U Canadian National Championships. On the beach that summer, he and his beach partner Daniel Dearing won the 2008 Junior Olympics in Puerto Rico and the 2008 18U Provincial Beach Championships, despite playing with injuries. After an incredible year with Pakmen, Kristian retired from his other passion, soccer, and decided to tryout for the legendary Al Scates and the NCAA All-Time leaders, the UCLA Bruins. Kristian was the first walk on tryout player to make the team in a decade!

Terrel Bramwell learned to play volleyball after trying out for our 14U team. By his second year, he was named to the Canadian All-Star team and the rest is history. He was part of one of the most decorated teams in Ontario Volleyball history, winning a major championship every year they played together (five years). He was named to the Canadian All-Star team on multiple occasions and was named the 18U Canadian National Championships M.V.P. after helping his team win gold. He was named to the Provincial team as well. Terrell, in just over two years at Humber College, Terrell established himself as the most feared attacker in OCAA and CCAA mens volleyball. Terrell set many OCAA and CCAA scoring records during his time at Humber while leading the Hawkes to 2 Provincial Championships and a National Championship. Terrell was rewarded for his outstanding play at the 2012 Nationals being named the tournament MVP. Terrell was selected to participate in the 2012 national team try-outs, and Terrell’s incredible attacking abilities were recognized by the national program as he has made the team!

Kadeem Clarke is the long time teammate and beach partner of Jessy Satti and is also one of the most decorated players in Ontario Volleyball, with over 70 OVA gold medals, including four Provincial Indoor Championships, two Provincial Beach Championships and two National Championships, including the 2008 CanAm Championships and 18U Canadian National Championships. He was a key player on one of the most successful teams in OVA history for five consecutive years, winning a major championships each year. Kadeem currently plays left side for the Sheridan Bruins (Sheridan College).

Jessy Satti is one of the most decorated players in Ontario Volleyball history, with over 70 OVA gold medals including four Provincial Indoor Championships, two Provincial Beach Championships and two National Championships, including the 2008 CanAm Championships and 18U Canadian National Championships. He led one of the most successful teams in OVA history for five consecutive years, winning a major championship every year. Known for being calm and cool under pressure, he continues his winning ways as a beach volleyball coach, who has already raked up more medals and championships in his first two years than most coaches will ever in their entire career.

Karim Khalil is a natural born leader. Even though he never actually played Rep volleyball for Pakmen, he made the most of his short tenure at the Champions League program and went on to play for the York Lions. With his first year playing competitive volleyball coming in university, Karim did all he could to catch up to his teammates. “When I started out, I was at a huge disadvantage,” says Khalil. “I made up for it by putting in all the extra practice hours to catch up to all my peers.” Khalil’s illustrious career includes winning the Gator Excellence Award, Valedictorian honours, the Queen Elizabeth II Award, the CIS academic all-Canadians Honorrs, the OUA’s Dale Iwanoczko Sportsman Award and York´s Stuart G. Robbins Award. On top of that, he was Team Captain of the York Lions for three seasons. When asked about Karim, OUA All-Star and fellow York University teammate Ray Szeto had this to say, “Karim was an amazing leader and a role model as a captain and as a friend. Everyone just looked up to Karim, because he was a natural born leader.” Karim just received his bachelors degree and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Kinesiology from York University.

On the beach that summer, he and his beach partner Kristian Kuld won the 2008 Junior Olympics in Puerto Rico and the 2008 18U Provincial Beach Championships, despite playing with injuries. Daniel was later named to Canada’s National Beach Volleybal.
